ATWATER MARKET, MONTREAL

My time in Montreal was brief but I made sure that I visited Atwater Market. The layout of the market was certainly impressive, and I found myself navigating it with ease. I visited on a gloriously sunny Saturday morning and basked in the flow of people that calmly perused the stalls. The market wasn't just busy, it was colourful and charming, much like the vendors themselves.

The presentation of the stalls and the arrangement of the produce reminded me of Boqueria Market in Barcelona. There was certainly a huge sense of pride and team spirit that certainly gave to an atmosphere of community spirit.

This market is one of the must-visit places for foodies. A trip to Montreal wouldn't be complete without it.

You can find the market at: 138 Atwater Avenue, Montreal, QB, H4C 2H6
